Digital video DIY

There's been a lot of buzz in The Pilot's newsroom lately about digital video. A few of us have tried our hand at it; a few others are a still a tad nervous about doing journalism in an unfamilar way.

As DV equipment gets smaller, less expensive and easier to operate, more and more professional and citizen journalists will be doing it. The British Broadcasting Corp. thinks that's a good thing. They have posted an excellent online course on how to shoot better video.
